We finally got some family painting, this time some Egyptian artifacts. link Not the best best quality, but the were cheap and I'll be buying the bigger pieces in the future. It's also crunch time in the Viscount stronghold for the holiest of holy days: Father's Day Wargaming with the girls, now onto its fourth year. This year isn't a giant battle, but three smaller skirmishes, including a demolition derby treasure hunt, a pulp scenario, and a late entry, an homage to HG Wells' Floor Games. Stay tuned for AARs next week. |

Cool. And wargaming with girls sounds like such a great idea. I have Fathers Day at my wife's family reunion. You've got a much better gig. |

Thanks! My always works on Father's Day, so the day starts with a tea party of grape juice, Tastykakes, and BBQ potato chips, and then moves into play. Previous years were Attack of the 50-ft Princess and the Battle of Hook's Farm from Little Wars using Britains, gnomes, ponies, and an empty dining room floor. I may or may not put less stress on my knees this year. |
