Minifigs Classic Fantasy range Sci-Fi SPACE WARRIORS are back in production!

It's been 20 years since anyone even saw the moulds but now we've found the masters. The old, much loved, figs are now available through the website.

Interesting, some passed through my hands awhile ago, I wasn't that impressed with them compared to Asgard etc and they will probably be on the small side compared to most contemporary ranges. However, they are different and have a certain charm.

I did not like them when I got them they were, I think, the only Mini Figs range that I regretted buying.

They certainly have that Minifig look. Unless you are trying to fill out an old collection, I am not sure why anyone would spend money on them now.

wow. those are bad…

I would buy them for variety, if I still did 15mm. I had over 100 random armed and unarmed minis for "starport scenery" when I was dping 15s.

Variety. It's what makes the scene.

That's a blast from the past indeed! Given the number of other retro ranges in this scale, i think, they'll pass and probably sell well :)

ROUWetPatchBehindTheSofa14 Jun 2015 5:49 a.m. PST

I initially thought they were 15's as well!

OMG those are 25s? They are HORRIBLE! I thought they were bad for 15s. Oh Eris, where is the brain bleach? Things seen, cannot be unseen…

I love'em! They make my own sculpting attempts look great! ;-)

Ah the good old days. This is why I don't really miss them.

I tried to collect these back in the day but just didn't have enough pocket money.
I think the Cehan and Aquila stuff was my fav -if that's coming out again I'm in.

All I will say is that it takes all kinds. And that they look better than their fantasy range.

mashrewba15 Feb 2016 12:08 p.m. PST

It may well be a nostalgia thing…

Incidentally, I need to apologize to you Graham, there was no reason for me to bad mouth the range when people had stated they liked it. I was a ass-hat.

The Earth Federation Spacemen (SF-9 with Jetpack and SF-10 with Laser) are the closest things I'd ever seen to my concept of Powered Armor in the Starship Troopers/Pulpish sense of spacesuit/armor with big elbow and knee joints, etc. I still have about a dozen of them.
