All, I am thinking of tinkering with TSATF to play WWII Pacific actions. I am pretty sure it will work, just not sure how to break down cards. I'm thinking maybe USMC moving a fireteam per card, and Japs a half squad per card. Marines will basically act under British stats, Japs may be an amalgam of a couple types. |

Before you all suggest Bolt Action, Chain of Command or Nuts, let me give you some background. I'll be 65 in December, I play Pulp Alley, Lion Rampant and Nuts, and am not entirely satisfied with any of them. Overall though I am no longer interested in learning new rule mechanics, and I am slowly realizing that TSATF can be made to work with just about any period or genre. |

Larry Brom has two sets of WWII rules: "M-1s and Arisakas" and "K Bar and Bayonet." I can't tell you anything about them; I just know they exist. Perhaps those are worth a look. |

I know, I had K Bar and Bayonet, and honestly could never make head or tail of it. I haven't been able to find out anything about M-1 and Ariska, though I've asked o the TSATF Yahoo group. |
