I'll finally come up with the perfect name for an imagi-nation, or character, or army… I know I'll remember it, because it is so perfect… and then I can't remember it later. Does that ever happen to you? |

Are you kidding me? I have trouble remembering real people's names (you all look alike to me) but Imagi-Nations and the people who inhabit them? Never! I'd much rather be with them than you lot. Otto! |

Agree with Otto – remember that pesky guy who you see once every six months? Never Imaginations – all the time |

That's why I tell my wife stuff. So she can remember for me. |

In real life I struggle with names. For games the answer is to write them down (and then not lose the piece of paper). Some years ago I spotted "Wing Commander The Hon. L. J. E. Twistelton-Fiennes" on a board at IWM (formerly RAF) Duxford listing the commanding officers of the base (he only did 11/7/1924 – 8/8/1924), jotted it down, lost the piece of paper, but remembered to make another note next time I was there. I've not yet used him in a game, but there has to be a day when just that sort of RAF officer is required! |

Forgetful? That is reason we have pencil and paper, the greatest aid to memory ever created. |

I also make a habit of writing down bright ideas. |

You forgot to ask if we forget where we put the note. I took to putting my Post-its on the edge of my monitors--then forgot what they meant. |

I carry five ID cards to remember my own name…..I have to write everything down, then forget what I did with the note. |

I never forget them because I always write them down! Now, where'd I put that one random scrap of paper ..? |

Also a note leaver but sometimes of the time I do not leave enough information on the note to understand what it meant? |

The writing down of these things is a good and admirable thing but my mother always wanted me to be a doctor and I got the penmanship courses down pat, but the rest of the subjects to become a doctor I failed miserably. So the problem is I can't read my own writing. I have resorted to anagrams. |

I never forget them because I always write them down! Now, where'd I put that one random scrap of paper ..? Yes, this is it right here. I write them down, but lose the paper or notebook, etc. I also rarely add extra notes, I just write what I want to remember. So when I do find the note later, I have no idea what the heck it's supposed to mean… |

Do I forget MY names? No, I know all my alter egos/multiple personalities/avatars it's all those… "other"… people out there I have trouble remembering. |

We can remember it for you wholesale. |

I write stuff down to avoid forgetting. However, a few names stick in my mind and won't let go. |

I'll never know if I'm getting senile as I've been forgetting stuff for decades. Names, what I went in the room to get, how to spell it.(The word it, just vanish completely) |
