Science Fiction has over the years regaled us with a number of fictional national/state/polity/army anthems. Here is a collection of 11 ones that were original produced by the creators of a work of science fiction, and are not to my knowledge fan work. Which three are your favorite of the list 1) Oceania Tis for Thee YouTube link Source: 1984 Motion Picture 2) Anthem of the Free Planets Alliance/Isherlon Republic Anthem

My own are 2) Ring the liberty bell! 4) Very dignified anthem which reminds me of the baroque royal anthems that lacked lyrics (Marcha Real for example) 5) Very nice martial anthem. Honorable mention 11) is also nice. Most disliked 3) is almost as bad as the Hail to the Victorious Crown (the Prussian official anthem) |

The Imperial March from The Empire Strikes Back is the best by far. None of the others even come close. My kids love "A Good Day to Die" from ST3, though. Very campy, though not "officially" an anthem, I think. Rob |

The Robota National Anthem, from an old Telstra (Australian Telco) TV add from the 1980's(?). Gormless Olympics announcer type tries an online help service to get the Robota National Anthem when they unexpectedly win an event – he gets 'Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream…etc'. Hijinks ensue. |

When it comes down to the ham factor, the only two contenders are the Empire of Britannia and Freedonia. |

Another rousing endorsement of Hail, Freedonia! I also like the Isaac Asimov Science Fiction March which was published in IA's SF mag (in the 70's? 80's?) not because of the song, but the editorial that accompanied it. So … what's Bongolesia's national anthem? |

I think SCHAFT Enterprises (a multinational conglomeration with inroads in multiple industries, including the booming Labor market) from PatLabor has one of the best corporate anthems. youtu.be/Sq_hbcga_Ig |
