VT: no, I have not based them yet. A few years ago I noticed how GHQ did their sea hexes and plunged in (no pun intended). Instead of loose hexes I mounted them on painted (so no warp) 1/2" birch ply boards. My gaming table has a lip attached all around the perimeter and we just slot the boards (with hexes glued on top) into position. Regards, J. P. Kelly |

My father in law was on HMS Stonecrop throughout the war mainly patrolling Gibraltar to Freetown. He has some good stories but diodes say that at times the sea sickness was so bad "they wish they'd been torpedoed!" |
