I have finally finished the Stalingrad project which I began last September, it was finished with the inclusion of four Panzer IIIs, and there are more pictures of these and the full forces on my blog:

That is pure class, its a project I have followed with a tad of envy and with respect for your dedication, well done doesn't seem to do it full justice!

Cheers guys! Thanks for the compliments, of course I will be adding more to this in the future. It would be churlish not to…

What you really mean is that you finished painting the first round of purchases.

Abwehrschlacht10 Jun 2015 11:38 a.m. PST

Ah no, these are the full lists for a specific scenario. Of course, I'll be adding to them, that is inevitable…

Rrobbyrobot10 Jun 2015 12:14 p.m. PST

It's nice to finish a project. Let the games begin. Then it's off to the races on your next project…

Abwehrschlacht10 Jun 2015 1:01 p.m. PST

Thanks rrobby! They will begin as soon as I can find the time to host the battle!

PatrickWR10 Jun 2015 1:12 p.m. PST

This has to be a first … A TMPer announcing that a project is actually *complete*?!?

Abwehrschlacht10 Jun 2015 1:21 p.m. PST

Thanks Patrick, you'd better believe it, it really is finished with!

Abwehrschlacht10 Jun 2015 1:57 p.m. PST

Ha ha, thanks Tim, I am glad you've enjoyed watching this as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.

Really love your work! It's an impressive army you have there! Looking forward reading an AAR when you find the time to play a game.

By the way: the stalingrad houses look fantastic! Congrats on that too.

Cheers,

Burt

wizbangs11 Jun 2015 6:47 p.m. PST

Congrats on the initial build up. That's always the hardest. And yes I caught the "forces for my scenario" commentary, which means there will be more!! Love the work you do. It is indeed inspiring!

Abwehrschlacht12 Jun 2015 9:09 a.m. PST

Thanks Wizbangs, much appreciated!

Nice little starter force you have there – good luck finishing the army grin

Seriously though, lovely to see. Looks really good and is inspirational

Abwehrschlacht14 Jun 2015 6:00 a.m. PST

Cheers guys, yep, you're right Marc, there will be more added in the future, I am sure! But I am having a break from Green and Grey for a bit…

Stalingrad may never be complete until you have one of these.
