Lovely presentation – i like the contrasty style of your painting, they must look superb on the table.

You really did a great job on those armies! What rules did you use?

Thanks,

John

Glad you enjoyed, Normsmith and John…
@John : rules are a fast play system, link on the blog, our first try for the period, quite close to our 1870 rules…
Thanks,
Phil.

In a couple of pics, what type of troops are the Prussian line infantry in green uniform coats? The also have a light brown greatcoat roll. Just curious!

Hi Russ,
They are from a small Prussian state…I ask Dimitri (he is the painter for Prussian troops) for the exact name…answer soon, and here!
All the best,
Phil.

Waldeck, they are troops from Waldeck, Prussian allied little state…
Best,
Phil.

Very nice indeed but your Austrian Jaeger plumes should be dark green, sorry, otherwise perfect.

Phil the french12 Jun 2015 1:39 p.m. PST

Ok, we'll try to modify this, thanks!

rorymac12 Jun 2015 4:23 p.m. PST

Thanks Phil! I was just curious since I am building forces using these same Old Glory figs. I plan to use the Saxon Jagers for Brunswickers and maybe even Hanoverians since these figures have similar headgear.

I hope you'll show us your units when finished Russ!

Outstanding painting job with those OldGlory15s, Phil! These are among the best I've ever seen. Having painted many myself, I can appreciate the extra work you have put into them.
