Quick, post before Armand gets in first! Here's my first line battalion of my latest project: the Neapolitan Army using the OOB from the Battle of Tolentino 1815. The figures are 1/72nd using the Italeri set 6066 with a couple of modifications.
The lighting was certainly better in this photo than in the one of my Neapolitan Velites posted earlier by Armand. More on the blog |

Very nice and well done for getting the "Job" as test painter for Francesco´s Figs. |

Always enjoy your blog, and dead envious of your exhalted status as the right hand man to Francesco. Colour me green. Nice figs, and look nice. Not convinced by the big movement bases you talk about on your blog |

Not convinced by the big movement bases you talk about on your blog Not quite sure what you're referring to, Marc. I did experiment quite a while ago with some which were edged in rather chunky foam. Are they the ones you mean? |

Retarius9, Italeri plastic is fairly hard compared to HaT and other 1/72nd figures and I use two coats of varnish which generally does the trick, so paint flaking isn't too much of a worry. |
