What is the cloth you use for this? How thick is it? |

hi, it's about the same as 120gsm, I use two types of cloth, the one that I use for the flags I sell as petesflags and the one that I've used in the step through which requires no tech knowhow to use and gives good reproduction on any half decent inkjet printer. I've just started selling these sheets on ebay so thought I'd better put some info on how to use them. The step though work's with most printable fabric unless it's the type that allows the ink to 'strike through' giving a reverse image on the obverse side. cheers Pete |

I've found that bed sheet cloth is the best for making flags and banners, if you use cloth. Rice paper is the very best though. The colors remain crisp, sharp and do not run. |

When I was into 25mm I used an old cotton shirt (washed first of course) and painted the pattern flat. Cut out the flag and tacked it to the pole with a couple of dabs of s/glue before giving the whole thing a coat of matt acrylic varnish. Shape it while damp and then shade it when dry before a second coat of varnish. Now I only paint 6mm or 10mm it's not really worth the agg. |

Is there information ( or key word/product number-code)for cloth printable paper that can be used to "google" to see and get an idea of what you are speaking of? I never heard or know where to find such. MG |
