If you're going to all the effort of dressing as a bat and calling yourself Batman, surely you should have a vehicle that evokes your bat-ness? The orginal batmobile, batcopter and batboat all had bat-ness, the 1989 batmobile and batwing had bat-ness, this…doesn't. From Carrions Crow's Fictionary:

As a design I like this even less than the abominations form the last three movies. But as a recreation of the vehicle in Frank Miller's Dark Knight comic (on which it seems the movie apparently is at least loosely based) it works fine. DC movies still don't hold even a flickering candle to Marvel's masterpieces, though. 8)= |
