Quite interesting!

"A little friendly competition for you. As the most excellent second series of Penny Dreadful progresses it would be entertaining to see a miniature representation of the cast…"

I am also behind one episode, but I'm with you Armand. I love the show.

Saw the majority of the first series, and the first two of the second. However, no longer have Sky TV, so can only watch in the UK when I pop round my mates house on the relevant day.

Flawed characters that you care about, a look at the underbelly of repressed Victorian sexuality, visceral Gothic horror and a new take on characters we all know. Brilliant show. Penny Dreadful is what the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie should have been.

Agree. Brillant show!

Do you consider that in some moment "Frankenstein monster" would help them in their quest?

I watched the first episode and thought it was good…I haven't given it a chance since. Can you kind chaps give me your synopsis?

I also liked dig and davincis demons but stopped watching after each first episode…

First episode of which series, first or second?

Basic premise of Series 1 is that Sir Malcolm Murray, father of Wilhemina Murray (or Mina Harker) is tryng to recover his daughter form the clutches of a master vampire, with the help of a disaprate group of individuals, all of whom have their own dark secrets. Whilst that's the over-reaching story arc of Series 1, it's so much more than just that and sets up nicely for series 2.

Armand -

I have a feeling that the monster's meeting with Miss Ives will result in him getting involved more closely with the remainder of the group, even if it's just to rip a few witches apart.

Thanks carrion. Yes I meant first season. I did enjoy it esp. The opium den killing scene, I should sit down and watch it.

Hope so my friend.

I would like to see him fighting on their side.! (smile)

Just WOW.

Perfect example of very particular theming of a bunch of random miniatures to a perfection.

Beautiful job!
