Pauls Bods Very nice. I did something very close to that years ago. Still have the cutting diagrams around for several 22 x 32" sheets. What did you use for the roofs? I used to cut out small squares of poster board and set them as shingles on the roof. Have you figured how to make them KDF (knock-down-flat) for easy storage? You can also use a rubber band to make them "snap together" when released. That is, sprng open automatically. Stretch them from one lower corner to the opposite upper corner, and have a stop under the roof on one side. Glue the roof to a flap on the back and leave the rest free and it willwork easily. by the way I got rid of all mine simply when I found out about Lithuanian Candle Houses, wich are msall porcelean houses that you put the candles in. They are gorgeous and I splurged for a huge pile of them simply because they looked to 18th century. Porcelean dragoons, Porcelean houses. |

Aren't porcelain houses hard to store/transport? How much do they weigh? |

Thanks :-D @ Otto..The KDF idea is great but storage isnīt a Problem..some fit inside each other and Iīve a large cellar :-D Just looked up the Lithuanian candle houses..some of them are lovely..and theres some good ideas for more Card houses. The roofs are printed from a design I found on the web..a bit of a cheat but saved as lot of time (and I couldnīt face cutting out and sticking 100īs of small Card tiles ..well not now) |

Dear Pauls Bods Try going to the Model Railroad stores. They have tons of roof card and roof paper that looks very realistic (model railroaders have this stuff down to a science) and they come in an enormous variety. |

Thanks Otto. I looked at some recently, but seeing as Iīm on a tight Budget I decided to leave it for now. I can always cover up the printed ones later when spare funds become available. I might have come up with a way of representing Roof tiles without glueing on 100īs of small Card tiles or spending any Money..only Thing, it takes a while to create. |
