Hello

this is actually a two part question. One I'm looking for 3" hex side mats? I have used hot matz an all though they are nice, they are extremely slow in delivery of said product. Also have thought of making my own aerial boards out of MDF but after going to look at them at local DIY store didn't realize they weighed so much. Any other suggestions, something that is ok for transporting, an durable?

Second question, if I was to do my own board, any suggestions on a quick easy way of laying out hex's on a mat or board? Once again they would be 3" hex's.

Thanks

Litko do hex stencils you can spray/conventionally paint/draw through

Use a computer graphics program to print your own stencil. I have found a dot in the center of each hex is sufficient to denote their positions, and it is less visually obtrusive than hex sides.
