Sean and I were excited to get another game of Star Wars Armada in, and since he drove the Rebels last game, it was my turn! I decided on a no-fighter build to try to capitalize on the speediness of a raiding force. Sean went for a variation on the VSD + 2 Glad theme, giving him a hammer and anvil approach. Sean chose to go first, and picked "Opening Salvo" from my objectives. link |

Interesting game and another great AAR! But nearly all the games seem to go this way with the two fleets passing through each other and then disengaging. Do you see any way to avoiding this? I'd like to see something like old wooden ship combat with parallel lines of ships on the same course trading broadsides. But I suppose with the Imperials having such powerful forward arcs and the Rebels having better broadsides, the Imperials would never go along with such an approach. |

We had to stop using the laser cannons in our games. They kept putting tiny little holes in everything and everybody. |
