I am working on a 15 MM army of "The Race" in Harry Turtledove's great "WorldWar" series. In some cases he gives plenty of description, but when it comes to the body paint of the Lizards The Race)wear it is usually mentioned as just body paint, or maybe a reference to colors. I was wondering if anyone had anything that might help define what the patterns and color rankings might be? Or has anyone already done this army and might have some pictures to share of how they handled he body paint. I am using 15 MM.UK Ninja Raptors for he Lizards, with their tails shortened. Thanks, Terry |

Thanks Major But. He does give some details. I was wondering how others might have interpreted it, or if anyone had painted up any of them . He gives that plain green stripes on the arm are a sign of being on punishment detail. He gives Shiplord Straha as having red, white and silver, and a shuttle pilot as having red and white. Flight Leader Teerts has gold and blue bands on his chest, yellow on his arms and purple and red squiggles on his head. Lastly he gives an adjutant to the Fleetlord Atvar as having one half "fancy" and the other half plain while that of Fleetlord Atvar was the same "fancy", but on both sides. I probably shouldn't complain sine we do have the above as a guide and suggestion. Terry |
