Your game looks great, plus it looks like it was lots of fun.

I went to your blog and found this photo of you playing your game:

In my view, there is just something profoundly wrong with grown men wearing hats when playing wargames ---- what will others think of us?

Others already think it of us, hats or not. :-)

Sorry mY lord,

I'm not an English general….

just Uncle Sam Wilson….
Or Jean Laffite "french buccaneer"…. ;)

Excellent! One thing I must take issue with though (along with much of the rest of the world!) Rosbifs is fine for referring to the Armée Britannique but Anglois/Angloises (English/Englishmen) just annoys the hell out of the Scots, Welsh and (at that time) Irish that served in large numbers, especially as this lot were at New Orleans:

Although given the result perhaps they would be happy to take a pass on this occasion and leave the defeat to the English… ;)

By the way, I didn't see the British 3rd Battalion, 95th Rifles but very nice to see the French Louisiana militia in the uniform of the Old Guard grenadiers :)

Captain Yapudo,

Nice to see some happy faces around a wargames table!

Too often the players just look downright miserable.

Durruti – just love the uniform info and must get into the war of 1812.

Cheers,

Paul
