Just wondering if anyone has compared the sizes of the new Peter Pig WWI Russians to the OG15s RJW Russians. I was thinking of using both, but wanted to check with everyone before I invest in samples of each. Thanks in advance for any insight! Russ |

The PP figures are slightly smaller than OG. More importantly PP Russians all have bayonets whereas OG don't which is a pretty major omission. I spent £15.00 GBP to find that out. I'm happy to stand corrected if OG have revamped their figures to give them bayonets. |

What rules are you guys using? I'm wanting to do the RJW but I'm having trouble finding a rules set. |

I've used Peter Pig's Square Bashing, Future War Commander, Blitzkreig Commander, Contemptible Little Armies and Battles for Empire. They all give good games – current favourite is Battles for Empire as the core rules are simple and it allows for a fair bit of tinkering with regards to command and control I game the war in 10mm using various ranges from Pendraken See my blog link for details |

My group is considering getting into RJW. We will be using Bloody Big Battles if we do. |

Just this past month, I purchased a pack of Russian infantry from Old Glory15s' "Russo-Japanese" line. Unfortunately, they have not modified these figures so they are still without bayonets. Has anyone ordered Old Glory15's 'Russian infantry' from their Boxer Rebellion range? I'm wondering if they are the exact same figures re-labeled, or perhaps are they different (and equipped with bayonets)? |
