I'm delighted to be able to show off the front cover for Galleys & Galleons. The rules will be produced in 6x9 inch format and will probably come in at around 80 pages. The 6x9 format makes for a tidy book, but also works well as a pdf to be read off tablets etc. The rules will include eight scenarios, a campaign system and at least 40 profiles for assorted vessels and the like. The most likely release date still seems to be September.

There is a little more information available on my blog – link

Looks great! I was figuring you'd go public domain, but this is fun and evocative.

I'm there- Septemberish is a long time to wait, but it'll give me time to work something up. I have plenty of 1/2400 (finished but for pennants), and 1/1200 (most still in shiny little pieces), but I want something bigger. Not Old Glory Shipyards big…I'm thinking Airfix and scrachbuilt.

And this cover definitely puts me in that frame of mind!

It would be nice to be spiral bound so it would lay flat on the table.

Bill McHarg, there is a spiral-bound option on Lulu (one of the printers we use) but I must check whether it is possible with 6x9 books.
