So, I guess Woodrow's War Store is no longer? Bummer, I really liked their selection and great service. Pete |

I haven't been able to contact them by email for some time. No reply. |

Let's face it, the internet has made being a game store exceptionally difficult. The stores I see having staying power focus on the CCG market, boardgames, GW games, Flames of War, X-Wing, and provide gaming area, oh and they sell comics and dice and other ephemera. The successful ones also have a robust online marketplace. In other words they diversify and often special customer service to stay alive. |

I think your assessment is right kallman, all the hobby shops in my area follow that model. |

I believe they announced their closure many months ago, perhaps as much as a year ago. I placed an order with them about a year ago a'closing discount offer'. It is a shame as it was a great store to deal with. |

I heard about them for the first time a few days ago since I am an avid 1/72 gamer. Sounds like I was too late. |
