Am driving up to DC tomorrow with my son to see a Nationals game from Hampton Roads. Any hobby shops nearby?

Thanks

Joe

I just spent three days in Chantilly VA, and stopped by Game Parlor (not too far from Dulles Airport near intersection of hwy 50 and 28) when the convention events died down. Learned about L'art de guerre on Wednesday night and joined in a flames of War desert game this Friday afternoon. Dropped about $200 USD on bases, books, and figs… supposedly Huzzah is somewhere close too, but never made it there.

Eagle & Empire,
1520 Belle View Boulevard,
Alexandria, VA 22307

Very near the beltway and Wilson Bridge.

Flames of War, Warlord Games, GW, all the usual suspects.

Huzzah is the best hobby/gaming shop in the area in my opinion. Located in Ashburn right off of the intersection of Route 7 and Loudoun County Parkway. Plenty of gaming tables, hobby magazines, boardgames, FoW, Bolt Action, fantasy stuff, Perry, Warlord, some Corvus Belli, etc.

Those are the three I'm aware of. Huzzah being the best for the historical gamer.

Game Parlour is the biggest – has everything. Historicals are neglected but has loads of odds and ends lying around.

Eagles runs the tightest inventory ever so not the place to browse long as a visitor. Very shallow selection.

All three seem to have active gaming space.
