I bought this to use for my 1941 Germans, but when looking online at Sdkfz 260 images, I came across one of a very battered and sorry looking vehicle still soldiering on in 1945. So I decided it had to be done! Will be using it as a radio vehicle for my Germans in games of Battlegroup: Fall of the Reich cos it looks so funky! Painted with the new Mig Ammo paints I have been trying, and I must say im liking the German colours.

Interesting applique plate between the front wheels. Was unaware of its existence/use on this vehicle series. B |

Mig Ammo paints!? Do you apply it with a 23mm cannon instead of an airbrush? :-) |

An airbrush shaped like a 20mm flak… Now that would be cool! |

Always enamoured Pierce, that you put display quality models on the tabletop for a game. Love the touch of the weathered vehicle name. It just puts this model over the top. |

No point in painting if it aint for playing… |

That AC looks like it was ridden hard, wet and slapped around like the red headed stepchild it is. Stunning work. |

That has to be the greatest response to a post ever acctingman1869! Cheers! Got an armoured SWS with flak to do next… but do I mount a quad 20 or a 37mm flak on it? |
LeonAdler | 12 Jun 2015 2:09 p.m. PST |
Oh love a SWS, has to be a quad 20mm Piers :) Working on a Revell sdkfz 7/1 at the moment, neat kit, my excuse for doing it is to make some crew for it……….thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it! I should be finishing some Dutch Belgian Napoleonics in 6mm but dont let the customers know lol L |
