Had a blast painting these guys, Corvus Belli may be on the pricey side of the wargaming spectrum but they are excellent figures!

Great job. Though I don't play Infinity they are some of the best sculpts out there. I like what you did.

Nice figures. I've always wanted to get a handful just to paint.

Great job! STILL haven't gotten to mine, but that's mainly because I scheduled a huge Battlegroup Overlord game for Historicon and am painting and scenery building like mad to get ready. Infinity will be soon, I hope…

Well done! I don't play the game but do really appreciate nicely done miniatures. How did you get that layered red? I'm always looking for a technique to improve my painting skills. Any pearls you would like to divulge would be appreciated!

Cheers everybody!they really were the most fun I'd ever had painting figures, I usually paint blocks of troops so it's nice to work on individuals with a bit more care!

As for the red pilum40 all it is is black undercoat, two or three milk thin coats if dragon red from army painter, then a sepia tone wash from vallejo, followed by one milk thin coat of blazing orange on the edges from army painter and that's it!

Very nice!

Nice figures. I've always wanted to get a handful just to paint.
Heck, a handful of figures is all you need to PLAY! And the rules are COMPLETELY FREE to download straight from the official publisher's website, no questionable torrents required.

The big challenge to playing Infinity is the amount of terrain required. You need LOTS. No, more than that. I'm talking about ~9x 8"x8", ~4x 4"x4", plus smaller scatter terrain.

The big challenge to playing Infinity well is the very steep learning curve. But there's a good forum willing to talk you through tactics and ways to counter EVERY attack in the game. Note that I didn't mention game-winning army lists, because those don't exist in Infinity.

I've still not played a game yet,I've read the quick start rules that came with Operation Icestorm, so have a decent idea of the mechanics – enough to give the game a try anyway!luckily I have a ton of terrain from the deadzone Kickstarter that will fit the bill nicely!
