…on Kickstarter. "Masters of Blöödirön, a new post-apocalyptic RPG by Abbott Games, is up on Kickstarter and looking for some funding. In the game world, the Earth has been invaded by The Enemy, who have left nothing but desolate, shattered, scattered outposts of humanity across the globe. Humans must scratch out a meager living in… we'll say, "rustic" conditions. However, nanotechnology is starting to turn some humans into more than just humans. The time to fight back and take over the planet once again for mankind might just be at hand. Masters of Blöödirön doesn't bog itself down with excessive amounts of rules. It's much more open and free-flowing. For example, the game uses no dice. There aren't any cards to flip for random number generation. Also, there's no game mat to have to worry about keeping track of. There aren't any minis to have to move around on the table. All you need is the game book for reference, your wits, and some friends to play along with. The campaign is set to run for another 19 days."

As a native speaker of a language with åäö, this is uh, interesting. For you, umlauts are just funny decorative dots, for us they change the pronounciation (also Ö is a separarate letter from O, with its own place in the alphabet). The name above would be pronounced something like "bluuhdyruhn". |
