Apologies if this has been covered eleswhere (nothing found on internet searches!), but are any of the 'made to fit the display box' vehicles from the DeAgostini partwork collection compatible in size/ scale with either the old West End Games 25mm miniatures, or the much more recent 'X- Wing Miniatures Game'? They aren't the greatest models, but they're fairly cheap on auction sites, and could potentially be useful. Thanks! |

Your Google-fu is weak today: link The Sheathipede Neimodian Shuttle at 1/267 scale fits in very nicely with X-WIng 1/285! Took a bit of work mounting the heavy metal model: link

Those conversions look great! My Google-fu did recover, and I've spent a good while trawling through the rebelscum site with the relative scales on, with somewhat disappointing results. I was hoping a few more of the 80 ships and vehicles would be more useable! DeAgostini recently brought out a part work of WW2 vehicles with some unusual/ unavailable elsewhere models, but all in a pretty useless for wargaming 1/43 scale. If they'd been 1/50 I'd have snapped a lot of them up for use with 28mm figures. Back to the Star Wars collection, the Sith infiltrator at 1/294 isn't far off the X- wing nominal 1/270- might have to get one of those! |

There's a lot of X-WIng ships on Shapeways (1/270 indeed, not 285, whoops). Mel Miniautures is by far the most prolific designer: link Topo and Gosric also have some very nicely detailed work. |
