Hi all I've been building an AMC Sturmtiger. I've blogged the full build so far here: link A few days ago I worked up some more detail on the barrel (rifling and gas discharge holes):
… and today I made 28 individual rivets for the casemate/chassis, half of which are visible in the picture below:
I'm a long ways from finishing the build, and it's not the world's best kit, but I've really enjoyed making it nonetheless, including (and perhaps especially) all the work I've done adding detail to it. I'd love to hear what you guys think of what I've been up to!

I admire your efforts to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Me? I'd have binned it and gone with Dragon. There comes a point when putting right a bad kit is just no longer any fun. You clearly have much more patience than me. |
