Just downloaded Another Glorious Day in the Corps, and am looking forward to trying them out.

So, does anyone have any good suggestions for Colonial Marines to fight against the Aliens Clix figs?

I don't recall ever seeing any Marines in their scale, so am looking for some decent options, in 28mm, or larger.

Eventually, I'll be wanting to do this in 15mm as well, and already have the figs sorted out for both sides, for that.

Denizen miniatures are a good match.

Some of the GZG 25mm figures would probably fit okay with the clix types.

I believe Prodos is releasing an entire licenced range for Alien (along with Predator and Colonial Marines) in 28mm. It had some teething issues but Prodos seems to be on the verge of shipping preorders and their sculpts have always been pretty top notch (at least in my experience with the Warzone Resurrection range)

What about the old Copplestone "Future Wars" miniatures?

This guy has them on Ebay a few times and if you contact him I am sure you could get the ones that just ended.

Hope that helps.

Hasselfree has a couple of unique figures set in the Aliens unoverse, and 1st Corps Colonial Troopers might also serve as proxies.

I have used the Copplestone Future Wars troopers

Notably the Trooper Characters

Hasselfree has a whole line of beautiful trooper figs but a bit expensive

You can't beat the old Leading Edge Colonial Marines. I have a full set, plus the Halcyon dropship and MicroMachines APC that I'd happily part with. Unfortunately, they're all packed away due to construction… If you're not in a hurry, remind me in a month or two!

1st Corps also has a very nice range which I happen to sell…

We use the Copplestone and some Starship troopers for ours….

For 15mm you have to go with Khurasan

Old Glory 25s have some nice 28mm mercenary minis in their Blue Moon Aliens and Spacemen line:

There are two other 28mm lines I am surprised no one has mentioned in this thread.

CoPPlestone not cobblestone.

As in Mark Copplestone, the sculptor of them.
His new place, Copplestone castings have newer designs based on them also.

Zargon03 Jun 2015 5:23 a.m. PST

LOL. I wants some of those Cobblestoned miniatures with some chrome on the dog as well :)
Cheers

Make,

You might check out the Earth Force Infantry from Rebel Minis. I don't have them but I have been eyeing them for similar purposes.

Posting this on my mobile device, hopefully it comes out right.

Well the official Colonial Marines and Aliens models have been released at UK Expo last week

Mako1103 Jun 2015 2:21 p.m. PST

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Didn't realize there was such a wide range of choices.

Those Rebel Minis troops do look very nice, as do some of the others.

Wolfprophet05 Jun 2015 4:26 p.m. PST

Mad Robot makes a squad, but they're more "heroic" scaled as the parts are designed to be compatible with GW Imperial Guard.
