I saw this game at Enfilade and it looked great. Nice pictures and wonderful AAR. I would have liked to try SP, but our group was busy running the large Ligny and Waterloo games. I love the personality names you choose and scenario. What I may suggest is a unit of Spanish cavalry to replace one unit of the infantry. They may come on the same time as the dragoons. The idea being the Sharpe player may think he has a more of a chance getting away if the the Spanish cavalry intercept the dragoons. The Spanish cavalry would be lights and of poor morale, being no real match for the dragoons unless they roll really well, but this is not revealed to the Sharpe player. |

Saw the Ligny & Waterloo games. Looked like a real slugfest. Who won? Thanks for the comments. I will have to do something to even it up. Only British side cavalry I have are some KGL Dragoons. I had enough trouble getting the Spanish Infantry painted up before the game. SP is one of those games where one side sometimes just overwhelms the other side due lucky die rolls and the turn of the cards. |
