I have some Warhammer buildings (fortified manor, fortress) and am looking for some medieval/renaissance style buildings to match them – something for the lower classes like a barn, possibly a blacksmith house, or some poorer dwellings. I did a search on the message boards with no luck, anyone have any ideas? I would prefer buying since my hobby skills are a little lacking if I had to build one – but if you have a real simple tutorial I may be interested. I am in the U.S. if that helps, thanks! |

Table Top Workshop do a nice range of really well detailed plastic buildings for the era. |

4Ground makes really nice buildings, I have quite a few buildings, accessories and fences of theirs for our RPG's. Laser-cut wood, the smaller ones go together very easily, the larger get more tricky, but all do require *some* assembly. All pre-painted. There is also auction |

Perry Miniatures do a nice barn. It's supposed to be for 18th Century onward America, but I would say it'll work well for fantasy. And because it's plastic, it would fit in the the WH stuff you have. |

Perry Miniatures do a nice barn. Actually it is their buddies at Renedra that do (though otherwise I agree with your assessment): link Perrys make a nice medieval cottage, however: link |

The 4Ground fantasy buildings are quite excellent. The tavern is very cool. link |

gamingblog.lnh.id.au/?p=1473 Several pages of buildings here, pretty simple to make. Good thing about medieval style is if you have a gap, you can put a 'beam' there to cover it. Also, if its not square, it looks more realistic! He seems to make most of his roofs with lollypop sticks. I use cereal boxes cut into small, irregular squares over a piece of thicker card, up to you. |

linkNo barn yet, but a nifty collection of other stuff. Not cheap, but qualitywise the best you can get at the moment. Imho absolutely worth it. 4Ground is nice if you want to skip on the painting. I got some of these, too. Tabletop-Workshop is currently unavailable, though you might find some of their houses on stock. Nicely crafted, easy to assemble, with interior detail. Barn, Cottage, Houses… Lots of other good stuff around, like Ziterdes or Stronghold. |
