Last Sunday at Kublacon game convention this year I "premiered" my Galleys Guns and Glory! (GGG!) rules and models for the general public.

By turn 4 most all the line had crashed into each other in that way that it looks in all the paintings of the battle of Lepanto. To be honest, as the game designer, that was my entire goal of this game to recreate that look and feel of battle in the era of the renaissance galley- and it makes me smile that it actually worked. Well, maybe not my entire goal, but definitely a pillar of the rules system and the model designs.

When will the the rules and the ships be available for sale? Can you give an idea of cost for ships. Loved the blog post and the look of the game. It appears it was a good time, especially when you see smiling faces at the table. That means the players are engaged, having a good time, and things are flowing the way they should.

I will vouch that Thomas was painting ships all Saturday afternoon and evening to get them ready in time.

Kallman- Ships will be for sale on my webstore by the end of the month. I was hoping to have rules ready at the same time, but am still refining them. I am sending out free beta rules to them's what ask. (see my blog for details)

Pricing will be in the $12 USD- $20 USD range depending on the ship model, with each model coming with a flag sheet, crew markers, and a fusta (small damage dice galley). Stay tuned for a more formal announcement.

I walked by this game a couple of times on my one day visit to Kublacon and was impressed by how involved everyone was. This game appeared to be VERY interesting to the participants to the point that there wasn't any goofing off and all focus was on the game. It looked very, very interesting.

I had a chance to get my hands on some pre release ships & am play testing the rules. Fun period, love how well the ships paint up & the flag sheets that go with them. Looking forward to more ships & doing a bigger game here…. (Not associated with Thomas in any way, but sure like his models)

Twawddell and Antioch, thank you for your feedback. Sometimes when running a game (or playing) I don't get to stand back and get the "big picture" view.

Next time stop by and say hi- or better yet, take command of a wing!

Roderick- Apparently my friend Peter can back up your claim with a picture on his blog. What can I say, the Sultan commanded more troops!

Also, he did a great battle report on the game from his view on the Venetian right flank, as well as Kublacon
