It's hard to believe this is a fan film. You could actually see this as an episode from the original series. One nitpick, they need to insulate under the bridge to keep the foot steps quieter. This is a superb effort. I applaud them keeping focused on the story and not trying to show off what they can do with 3D rendering. From here: YouTube link |

The Star Trek Continues series has been consistently good. Well worth watching for any fan of Trek. You might also enjoy Prelude to Axanar: YouTube link It's a different feel from your standard Trek, but the quality is super-high and it's interesting to see a different take on things. |

Fans can participate in Kickstarter promotions as the productions are a non-profit labor of love. Quite unusual. "Hollywood" take notice ……we don't need your stinking Producers! |

Those are both really good. The "White Iris" has the feel for old school Star Trek. "Prelude to Ananar" makes me want to break out my ships and play a game. |

That is pretty amazing stuff. Personally though, I'd have preferred a new TOS Star Trek vessel and crew. |

They have done some very good productions. This is on of their better works. |

CBS have just blocked the video on youtube claiming copyright infringement…which is total BS. As Star Trek Continues is a not-for-profit venture, CBS have no right to block its production or broadcasting. |

If it violates copyrights, "not for profit" is no protection. Copyright doesn't really care about financial gains. |

Say what you want about Lucasfilm, but they knew how to keep the fan base happy when it came to fan produced work. |
