It's hard to believe this is a fan film. You could actually see this as an episode from the original series.One nitpick, they need to insulate under the bridge to keep the foot steps quieter. This is a superb effort. I applaud them keeping focused on the story and not trying to show off what they can do with 3D rendering. From here:

The Star Trek Continues series has been consistently good. Well worth watching for any fan of Trek. You might also enjoy Prelude to Axanar: YouTube link It's a different feel from your standard Trek, but the quality is super-high and it's interesting to see a different take on things. |

Those are both really good. The "White Iris" has the feel for old school Star Trek. "Prelude to Ananar" makes me want to break out my ships and play a game. |

CBS have just blocked the video on youtube claiming copyright infringement…which is total BS. As Star Trek Continues is a not-for-profit venture, CBS have no right to block its production or broadcasting. |
