Tomorrow at Partizan James, myself and the team are presenting our take on the opening shots of the Verdun campaign with the events in the Bois Des Caures on the 22nd February 1916.
James kit-bashed a Colonel Driant model and gave it to me to paint on Thursday so after a quick paint job here he is, burning the paperwork after having to abandon the command bunker:

I've also added another dozen recruits to my own force of Poilu
Including a Hotchkiss machine-gun
And a couple of officers, I had not done any so far so was lacking in command.
