Looking for some Evil henchmen for a small retinue . I wanting something that scales well with Perry miniatures. They can be historical or fantasy figures.Have have looked at Reaper and Otherworld but the size may be an issue.

How evil looking would they need to be?

Have normal soldiers wear the livery of the Bad Guy.
Not the coat of arms, obviously. Only the Big Guy gets that. But make up a pair of colors that his henchmen wear.
Like the henchmen of Baron du Plessix wear maroon and orange. Vary the location , like legs of tights or jackets and sleeves.
Pick a disgusting pair of colors that do not go well together.
Lincoln green and pink?

"Evil henchmen" sends a picture to my mind of a motley crew. Some have decent arms and armor, but most would be catch as catch can. I have a small (dozen or so) group of mostly foot but including four bareback-riding (barefoot, even) horsemen of Celtic marauders. They are about perfect for a small "retinue" of henchmen, very informal looking and disreputable, the very boys that the "boss" would disavow once their usefulness was over. They are Gripping Beast, I believe (but this is years ago)….

Yes Great War Ace has described what I am looking for. I was think of modifying some of the plastics that are out. Just curious on what options there may be.

For a rag-tag crew, Wargames Foundry has some packs in their 15th century range that should work. These were sculpted by the Perrys a long time ago, but should be reasonably close to their current models sizewise. However, the sculpting quality is of course not to their current level, and Foundry tends to be a bit on the pricy side.

If you have the Perry plastics, you can of course put together quite an interesting bunch by mixing and matching them (especially if you can access parts from all five plastic kits).

How about Mirliton (old grenadier range)?

Those Frostgrave plastics would be pretty rag-tag, but might look quite chunky next to Perrys.

The Frostgrave figure on the front left looks like a grizzled Old West miner to me.

Kind of like this guy

That's because it's his great-great-great-great grandpappy!!

You can make quite a motley crew out of the GW Empire Free Company, although the clothing may be too late for your period.
