This post with photos cover the allies that fought under the Imperial banner during the early 1670's.

At the bottom of the page are some ideas that may lead to a follow-up project.

Robert, are you playing or planning a gunpowder version of DBA 3.0 or are these for DBR?

timurilank29 May 2015 7:02 a.m. PST

DColtman,

The DBA-HX has been revised and is available at the Fanaticus Resource page. This has 22 pages of army lists.

DBA-HX 3.0 (1700-1850): link

The earlier period 1670 – 1699 set is done, but the army lists are still being drafted.

Cheers,
Robert

Thanks Robert, is the earlier pike and shot period ~ 1500-1670 in the works for Hx as well?

Dave,

For the moment, I have no plans nor have I heard from other members of the test group, to extend the DBA-HX 3.0 revision to include 1500 to 1670.

That would require a lot more time than I have at the moment and put us off schedule for next.

After the final revision for the army lists, 1670 – 1699 the next big project is the Civil War era using 3.0.

That should keep us busy until the end of the year.

I think your idea of a card game for sieges is sound. I've been thinking the same thing but never got around to it. Good luck on that.

"Musket rests!!!"

I know. After my purchases, Legio Heroica introduced musketeers without them. Perfect timing.
