Nice. Your Persians have an Allah Akbar kinda thing going for them. |

While not historically accurate, I like what you have done with your "Persians" -- .they have kind of a 300 feel to them. In fact they look a lot better than the ninja Orc Persians from the movie. You have certainly inspired me. Good work. Kevin |

Hi Chaps – thanks for the comments I can take no credit for the Persians, they belong to my opponent Ian and are a mix of Artizan Moors, Wargames Factory Persians and Miniature Design Studio Persians – hes done a great job painting them The Spartans are all by Scarab Miniatures Rob |

I am an avid player of Impetus but enjoy reading battle reports of other systems. Nice looking game. Looks like a lot of fun. I can't enthusiastically embrace single based figures and movement trays. Just doesn't cut it aesthetically for me. |

MB – a lot of my figures are based on 40mm sqs, or in various other multiples with a few singles. I use casualties figs to keep track of the 'dead' Removing the casualties assists with play so you can see if a formation is over half strength or not – once at half strength it has a morale penalty – I accept model removal shows the base of the movement tray but I know some players who have created 'blank bases' with either casualty models on them or simply matching basing material. A good idea which should I ever have the time, I shall copy! Theres some page spreads from the book on these links link and link for any one who wants to check out the quality of the product itself cheers Rob |
