Can anyone recommend me a good wargaming store here in New Orleans? I'm looking forward to learn more about Flames of War.

+1 Gaming – visited once, 5 or 6 gaming tables, selection of board games, minis, and other stuff. Nice people. Don't remember any FOW stuff, but wasn't really looking for it.

WWII Museum – has some minis in the gift store, not a dedicated wargame store, so the staff probably won't know much about FOW.

Walt Burgoyne (sp?) works at the WW2 Museum and is one of the wargamers in New Orleans. He organizes games at the museum. I'd suggest to try and contact him.

A number of FOW players stop by there. FYI, Metairie is a suburb of New Orleans; +1 Games, a fine establishment, is also located there.

Jim's suggestion that you try to contact Walt Burgoyne at the WWII Museum is an excellent one; Walt knows 99% of the historical gamers in the area.

Do not forget about the Bayou Wars convention on June 12th. This year it is a few miles north of Baton Rouge in St. Francisvulle.

Thanks a lot everyone. I will try to visit WWII Museum soon.

For Bayou Wars, I am not sure yet. I've seen NOLA and haven't been out to Baton Rouge.
