Hi I've just made my first trees:
… using this book as ref:
I've also reviewed the book on my blog link and on Amazon UK (here) And there's a post on my blog link with a bit more detail. I'd love to see what other people have done in this line. Mine aren't quite finished yet – the bases need painting & weathering, grass etc adding, & the the whole thing needs matt lacquering. Let me know what you think of my first arboreal efforts! Regards Sebastian |

That's why I buy my trees….I hardly have time to paint troops as it is. And I like lots of trees. My last game had 200+ trees n teh table to represent the two forests plus various scenic trees…. |

Looks great! But I won't pay almost $500 USD for a book on how to make trees (as shown on amazon.com). |

Those look really good. For more quick assembly in 6mm, cut round wooden toothpicks in half, and paint/dye the "trunks" a medium gray. Add a drop of white glue to your preferred end, and then press a bit of appropriately size clump foliage from Woodland Scenics onto the end. Then, glue to bases, or press into your terrain, as desired (sharp end down, if inserting into foam – flat end down, if basing on pennies, washers, etc.). For 10mm trees, just use the toothpicks as is, and/or clip a little off one end for a little height variety. |
