Bruno Ganz – Downfall – No one's done it better, At least not since the 1930's and 1940's when that little German guy played the part on stage during WWII. ;-) |

I thought Noah Taylor did a really good job of a young Hitler in Max. Bruno was the best old Hitler, naturally. |

I haven't seen many of the above. But I'll vote for the guy who played him in "They Saved Hitler's Brain" which was a horrible B movie which had a group of Nazi's at the end of WWII same Hitler's head from the torso up in a giant bell jar and preserved it to lead them in the future. The best part is when the bad guys are chasing the good guys with the head in the bell jar in the back seat and it's barking orders to the driver-- best case of backseat-driving I ever saw. |

Richard Basehart did him in a Freudian style in "Hitler"(ca. early 1960's). Animated versions, such as as a duck in "The Ducktators",and one where he gets it courtesy of "gremlins from the Kremlin"("Russian Rhapsody"). Or the young version on Robot Chicken("Little Hitler") |
