Imperator Furiosa, art by Dan dos Santos I found this picture on muddycolors.blogspot.com/. For some reason, I was reminded of something else:
Tank Girl, art by Jamie Hewlett Now, Imperator Furiosa is a great character, but sometimes all that sincerity gets a bit heavy. Tank Girl is sincere, too -- she sincerely doesn't care. My point (such as it is) is that Tank Girl acts more like any gamer you've ever met than Furiosa does. Also, she has a tank. Ron |

Granted, but she also does things with a Kangaroo that would endanger the PG rating of this forum if mentioned. Not aware of too many gamers who share that trait… Not sure why either fictional character needs to act like a gamer? I mean, if they actually did behave that way in a post-apoc outback, I suspect their dedication to getting facing colours exact wouldn't be a substantially useful skill… |

Not sure why either fictional character needs to act like a gamer? Rather, many gamers act like Tank Girl. I am speaking mainly of role-players, a tribe notorious for its obedience to the id. Maybe your gaming group is better. If there is any lesson to be learned from this thread, it is probably "don't post before the caffeine has kicked in". Although it was a great excuse to post a link to some art. Ron |

My thoughts are that I would like to see a good not Furiosa in 28mm. I would not say no to a good 28mm Tank Girl either although in that case I would prefer comic book version to movie version. |
