I've come up with an idea for all you people who want to kill off Jar Jar Binks and what would that be you ask.

Why to CLONE Jar Jar Binks of course.

This way you will NEVER EVER get the original Jar Jar Binks no matter how hard you try with your insidious plans to kill off Jar Jar Binks.

No, my worst nightmare would be if they cloned baby Anakin or teen Anakin. Next to those two, Jar Jar is a model of character creation and sparkling dialogue.

We do know that other movies including some James Bond films had actors speak with a pseudo-Caribbean accent does that make them offensive too?

Will if Jar Jar is a racist caricature as you say(which I disagree with you) then you have to say that every movie that has come out with characters who uses a pseudo-Caribbean accent or any other accent be it German,Japanese etc is the same.

And saying that Jar Jar Binks didn't contribute nothing of any use to the story is just wrong because he did you might not to believe that but it's true.

No, because the *accent* isn't the problem. It's how the character with that accents *acts* that is the problem. I don't find black face acting with a sci-fi veneer to be at all entertaining, or acceptable.

I disagree with you Will for myself I didn't see that in the character,and for the blackface comment in my opinion you're wrong and that's how I see it.

Will you never said vital story function but for me Jar Jar Binks getting the Gungans and Naboo together to fight the trade federation might not have been a vital contribution but it was a contribution to the story and I highly doubt that the Jedi or the Queen could've gotten the Gungans to help them so Jar Jar Binks did provide an important function in the story and that's how I see it.

That's fine, you're allowed to disagree with me, it's a free country. But that's what I see when *I* look at Jar Jar Binks, and nothing you say will convince me otherwise. Which is why I hate the character, and always will.
