The link to ALL the Friday photos in a gallery view mode is at the bottom of the dozen or so photos in this TMP posting. Saturday and Sunday games will be posted as time allows. At the risk of misidentifying a game I will omit designations. The list of games can be found on the Nashcon website here:

The theory of the photo shoot was to document the games AND the folks playing the games. The people --- who come from everywhere – make the convention. For a few hours we become brothers and sisters in arms in some far away or long ago battle so it is well to remember the game and our comrades.

Note that your volunteer convention combat photographer also put on a game or played played in a game in every session and ran round the convention shooting the games and the people. I even tried to capture our Vendors and the young people who were tossing dice.

Certainly not every game and every person passed by my lens and if there is a game or soul missing from the collection I'll capture you or your game next year. I didn't intend to ignore anyone but I can only be in the three places at once.

And yes Nashcon was a smash success. I didn't see an empty game or some lad looking for a game to play. This is an astounding hobby and many thanks to the folks who are unsung but make this thing happen.

My favorite picture is Major Bill wearing a Nashcon '89 t-shirt.

The show was great! And the quality of games hosted was just outstanding -- better than I think I've ever seen at a single con.

I went, had fun. I was surprised by the number of dealers and all the stuff they had there. I spent money… too much money!

Great looking games. Very sad I wasn't there this year. I've always had a great time at Nashcon other years.

Doc MCB, '89 was the 1st year of Nashcon! You don't see many of those shirts around any more, do you?!
