Hey guys, I'm looking to outfit some sci-fi civilians & leader types with hand-held datapads, communicators and similar devices. Any suggestions for good sets of conversion parts, other than the obvious 40k bits? Thanks for any help you can provide! |

I should add that I don't mind whether the units are seperate or come attached to hands and/or arms. Any useful sprues or arm sets can be considered. |

Eureka Miniatures USA has an office set with one. Sort of expensive to get Considering there is only one laptop in the set |

link Antenocitis workshop have computer screens with glue on pictures Not sure if any are small enough for a hand held tablet |

Given the size I'd think a lot would be simple to make. A tablet is just a piece of balsa or sheet plastic cut to size. Same for smart phones. Realistically most items like that ar box-shaped anyway. |

Thanks guys. Yeah, I was hoping to keep the costs down and it's proving pretty hard to find stuff. I'll have a look at the eureka set anyway. I love the antenocitis screens and may get them anyway for mounting on some sci fi rooms, but I reckon they're too big for handheld stuff. I may end up just taking your advice, Extracrispy, and making some from plasticard. But it would be nice to have a few with some extra detail, such as buttons – i'm going for a generally Rogue Trader 40k low tech look. Any other potential sets out there? |

Thanks guys! The Heresy Inspectors are already on my shopping list – a great set with loads of uses. The Slug Industries pack looks the best bet for conversion parts so far – cheers Richard! |
