Why is the spaceship running into rocks? Normally I would think this is not a good thing.

MHoxie25 May 2015 12:38 p.m. PST

Did somebody say Starcrash?

I'm really looking forward to these ships, love the look of them, sort of classic 1970s sci-fi.

Is this question bothering you as well? Do you wonder other questions about the StarCrush Universe?
You will have to stay tuned to find out the answers.

Pulp Figures owner and sculptor, Bob Murch and Crucible Crush Productions are pleased to offer you some excellent 1/250th scale star ship miniatures. StarCrush and it's universe were birthed after these miniatures were sculpted, cast and painted. The purpose of the universe is to bring the miniatures to life in their own dynamic and growing storyline. After the creation of the background the game rules were developed to provide a tabletop system that utilizes the StarCrush Miniatures. Discover our miniatures which will come to life in front of your eyes over the upcoming months.

The odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field are approximately 3720 to 1 but i guess he found the one

Cruciblecrusher27 May 2015 4:57 a.m. PST

Actually the ships are shielded so the chance that the small asteroids will cause harm is very low, besides he missed the really big rocks.
New blog has been released today and the reason for the asteroid field will be revealed on Monday in our second video!

Cruciblecrusher27 May 2015 4:59 a.m. PST

Here is a picture of one of the miniatures unpainted, which is how they will be sold.

The new blog article has been released today at starcrushminiatures.blogspot.ca

nobody333127 May 2015 6:13 a.m. PST

yeah he bump in to 4 small and 1 medium size rock

so the question is .How strong are the shields?

Bob Murch27 May 2015 9:55 a.m. PST

The ships are done in a style that is hopefully reminiscent of late Gerry Anderson, John Dyksra work. Space 1999, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Galactica etc.

I'm working on 4 more ships right now.

Meteorites don't stand a chance.

It would be neat to make a buck rogers table top game

Cruciblecrusher28 May 2015 3:26 a.m. PST

That would be an IP that would cost a significant amount of money in investment just to get the license.

Our Friday blog is up now. We will be releasing blogs about the StarCrush universe on Wednesdays and Fridays for the next month as we move toward the launch of the figure line. On Monday we will be releasing a video installment telling the back story of the StarCrush universe titled the Commorium Incident.
starcrushminiatures.blogspot.ca
Today's blog is a story which links our two videos together. It tells the story of the Star Cruiser Oberan Dream and their attempts to determine the source of the meteor showers that are plaguing the quadrant.

The new video has been posted today starcrushminiatures.blogspot.ca
The second video about the StarCrush Universe continues on from where Friday's blog ends and shows the findings of the probe from the Oberan Dream.

The fastest way to get me to ignore you is to post links to blog post that you have to watch a video to get any information from. Pictures of the miniatures would be nice.

Cruciblecrusher05 Jun 2015 4:56 a.m. PST

Pictures of the miniatures are above, in this thread. We provide a link to the blog where you can get more information such as videos, stories and game play notes.
The miniatures are 1/250th scale.
Here are the miniatures being used to play a game.

Hope this helps!

Saw some of the ships live at Hold the Line on Saturday, looked great. I didn't get too close as the guys were having a pretty active game with them, but I really liked them.
