"The smallest of the new craft coming somewhere end of this year for Wave 7 is the Kihraxz Fighter. It's a Light Assault fighter, which can only be deployed by the Scum faction for the X-wing game. After the unpronouncable scyckcykcc fighter, Scum now have the second fighter which will be hard to say when from any other country than an English speaking one. So what does this craft hold in store for our game? Read on! Like I mentioned earlier, the Kihraxz is a Light Assault Fighter, specifically developed for the Black Sun crime syndicate. It did find it's way to other independent fringers later on, so it wasn't exclusively used for the Black Sun. The manufacturer is TransGalMeg industries: the industrial corporation which was around since the clone wars. They were responsible for the designs of a large amount of vehicles, such as the Delta-7 Aetherspite class Interceptor and Eta-2 Actic-class Interceptor (The Jedi-Starfighters), as well as the transport rings that enabled hyperdrive for the smaller craft. TransGalMeg used the popular design of the X-wing to model it's fuselage. Each wing carried a sublight engine, but every hull had a tertiary engine, making it much more maneuverable than it would be without that 3rd engine. The Kihraxz was a fighter easily modified, so there were only very fighters exactly alike…"

Nope. Comes from the MMORPG, Star Wars Galaxies. I do not understand the hate that gets heaped on X-Wing and FFG for their willingness to mine Expanded Universe for new units. I guess we'll just go with that colloquial expression from this decade: "haters gonna hate." -Brian |

"They're just makin' $$$$ up now…" An ironic comment given the source material :) |

I do not understand the hate I don't hate but I would guess that for many, SW is the first 3 movies made and then the episodes and that's all. So when new ships come out from a different vein people never heard of it appears they are making it up. My interest in the new FFG ships is ending because I feel like I have to start reading all the different books just to know what the heck things are. Now if they were to start up with the Clone Wars animated show, my house would be all in. |

Cool looking design! Very useful with 5150 Fighter Command if you want to be a Star Wars purist. |

I don't play X-Wing or use the minis (I use the Studio Bergstrom 1" fighters and F-Toys for the canon ships), but I've added EU stuff from Shapeways and other fighters from EM4's Silent Death plastic ship pack to fill in for pirates or independent factions. Rebels vs. Imps isn't the only way to play. |
