Hi, i am looking for a set of rules for WWII but i prefer cards or "dial" (like x-wing) instead of taking notes into paper. I would like to use 1 or 2 planes per player. In WWI we are playing Aces at Dawn and we are happy! In WW2 we tried CY6, it is agreat game but we would like to try others. Thanks |

Wings of Glory uses cards for aircraft movement, and is similar to X-Wing. They make both a WWI and a WWII version. |

We played Wings of glory but we did not like it. We are searching for alternatives. Thanks! |

Bag the Hun from TooFatLardies is card activated (not what I think you mean by 'cards or dials') and 1 to 2 planes a player would be dead easy. Each player could handle a finger four without any problems. It's hex based. The WW1 version is called Algy pulls it off. A news version of the WW1 game has been play tested and this is doesn't need a hex matt. Both are great fun to play IMHO. No writing down of movement required. |
