These guys look great.

You can also make them like this:

I think I like the first one better.

The tech priest himself looks cool but not quite as steam punk-ish:

I guess I'll have to buy the new codex too.

Overall I've been pretty pleased by these Mechanicus releases. I haven't actually got any yet but I probably will soon. I'll figure out a way to work them into the 40K campaign I'm doing now.

And, they will have to fight some Fuzzy-Wuzzies and some Zulus at some point too.

Wow. $36 USD for a figure.

Yeah, fortunately I have a bunch of the old techpriests around from the set that came out with the silver skullz promotion they did back in the early 2000s. I've been painting those up recently.

I think you would need a gold mine to afford to field such a force!

Wow. $36 USD USD for a figure.

Yup, that is GW for you.

Zargon24 May 2015 11:24 a.m. PST

Nope, that's GW for you, heck if I could get just 1$ from each figure they sell, I'd be able to fund the Mars program ;] lota perople out there with lots of DISPOSABLE income ;)

You gotta love those tesla coils.

It's expensive, but it is a large model – comes on a 50mm round base.

I am thinking about using the Electro-Priests as portable Tesla coil carriers for IHMN.
