Thanks Everyone! Those are actually folding bipods (I didn't know what they were at first either)rather than bayonets.

Spectacularly lovely paint !

HOW in the world did you manage to paint that subtle pattern on the back of the jacket ?? Please advise.

I actually painted the burgundy red lines on wider than needed, then ran thinner lines down the middle in the tan coat color. End result is two red lines in parallel that are thinner than I could ever hope to achieve directly with a brush.

It's a pity Mr Copplestone had arrived at one of his 'I'm bored with this period… one pose will get these out of the way' phases when he sculpted these.

Yes, more variety would have been great. I also wish he had made some command figures and uniformed infantry as well.
