The Society of Ancients DBA Northern Cup was held at Triples last Saturday. Version 3 was used (as is now standard in the UK) And another splendid day it was … See the report on Ancients on the Move/Triples … Armies and boards were all provided in preset scenarios which were drawn at the start of each round … … and splendid armies they were … Many thanks to Paul and Tony for creating it all and to *Sheffield Wargames Society* for hosting it. Everyone seems to have a good day out … well done to Phil Johnson for the win (a new winner – no-one has yet successfully defended this title!) … I may have come last, this time (I think I'm enjoying the games too much and need to apply myself … ) Just another week and the UK DBA League goes again (Midland DBA Open … check Fanaticus for details) Phil SoA Shows North Ancients on the Move
