link Has anyone used these cavalry flags with TAG cavalry? Do the flags fit the thick "lance-shaped" cavalry flagpoles? How do they look in general? |

To answer my own query: Iain was kind enough to send some 30 YW cavalry standards over to me and I am test fitting them. Nic's cavalry standard poles for TAG are very thick indeed and need some filing around to thin them out before Iain's flags will fit. That done, the flags are going to look very nice indeed. They are larger than – I suspect – their real life predecessors were. OTOH that makes them more eye catching and I am happy to trade authenticity for good looks. |
