I've owned Warmaster since it came out, but just started playing it. It is a great system, and my friends and I are having a lot of fun with it. But I want to import more monsters into it (I'm running a campaign set in the AD&D Birthright setting), and cannot seem to find a points system for building them. The lower points stuff (human infantry and cavalry) I can figure out, and am using the army lists from Warmaster Medieval, but I do not understand the interactions between Hits and Attacks and Armor saves when you get either high number (past 4) or widely different stats. Does anyone know of a points-cost system that will help out? |

If you join this Yahoo group link you will find a WM points calculator in the files section. changing the values in the spread sheet will re-calculate the points per stand. |

The fantasy version is still available online for free and it has all of the point values for dragons, war eagles, trolls, etc., in it. |

Welcome to Warmaster! It's my favorite game. I'll just take a moment to plug my blog and my series of Warmaster paper counters for fantasy and ancients. They allow folks to experiment and play the game without any additional cost. ordinarygaming.blogspot.com I'm getting ready to post a Late Roman set later today or this weekend. The Kislev is also almost done. Also working on revising the old fantasy sets. Moving onto Medieval as well since I recently acquired the book, completing my WM collection. Making counters seems to have become my main hobby! Teaser Images:

aegiscg47 do you have a working link to the download? I did a search yesterday but was unable to locate a working link. I already have all the rules, but was looking for the fantasy download to assist others. |
